Tamara twisted my arm

Tamara told me I had to post some new art or she would mock my short story Tapestry without even reading it. Also, apparantly I was a complete ditzand din't attach the file tobig email I sent everyone. Sheesh ...

This is the first official illustration for my novel Daemonfire. He will be a chapter header, but right now he's a wallpaper. Enjoy.

My arm hurts.

  • That's a terrific quote, and you once again display your absolute abject domination over the animal form. Good use of complimentary colors too!

  • Hahaha! That wasn't quite what I meant but hey, whatever works... anyway, this is a great splash page. Cool quote and that font works well... Great job on the colouring (I'm gonna have to go check out Kat's tutorial!) I also really like how the linework is not a solid black. Anyway, it worked for me, I had to go check out your website. So, is Sospes a kynx then? The kynx on your site looks pretty cool as well.

Take care of that arm! Make sure to take breaks, stretch often. I don't know what kind of set-up you have now,but I hope you have a decent drawing table or something.

  • Actually, Sospes is a daemon. Entirely different book series from my Rhymar trilogy, which populates my website.
And my arm hurts cause you twisted it. I have a decent drawing setup; my coloring on the computer setup could use some improvement.

  • You have seriosuly come a long way in your computer coloring! This is so much more gentle on the eyes but still very exciting to look at. I adore the detail in the fur and the COLORS! wooo the colors make me happy. Cats with horns is a really cool concept. great work!
