Anyone else on ConceptArt, cause I'm scared to death to post! I'm imagining a bunch of froth-mouthed snoots tearing apart my attempts at anything. But man, can people on there draw.
I'd just like to know, so maybe I'm not so lonely on there.

I agree that it's terrible this blog has fallen into disuse. My own personal reason: very busy!
I'm working on a not-for-children children's book that's coming out later this year (hopefully), puting together a portfolio to entice someone to hire me full-time, and saving enough time to spend with my wife so she doesn't feel like she's married to an empty room.
Here's my proposal for reversing this landslide of inactivity: we still have the group email address, so we can send out a message when there's a new post here.
OR...
We can all meet up on CA, DA, or *A where *="any conceivable letter of the alphabet besides A." I have no fear of the folks on ConceptArt. They're a bunch of big teddy bears just like you and me.
BTW, love the raptor stuff you've been posting on DA.

Oh, thanks. Everyone does, apparently. I've discovered a niche!
I'd really like to meet on ConceptArt. DA is kind of sycophantic, not that we're not all addicted to our comments and faves. But there's so much stuff to LEARN on CA that it's quite inspiring.

But does CA actually have a system whereby you can watch other artists and receive updates whenever they post something? It seems to be a bit weird there.

From what I can glean using my Glean-o-tron, CA is set up more like a bunch of forums and threads. The only way to track someone's activity is to bookmark their user profile and look at their most recent posts. Less Myspace, more Drawing Board. IMHO.

I'm on CA all the time. If you want to keep track of people's specific threads you can bookmark them in your "control panel" If anyone needs help navigating, I'd be happy to lend a hand. My user name is Grendel Grack.
