Here is my newest creation. The concept behind this is that a demon wolf and a dying woman merge their spirits to create an undead zombie wolf. You can check out the entire story here.
That's a cool story! Loving the mane/hair blowing in the wind. This looks like a kind of D&D monster a Dungeon Master would roll up on a d20. ... or was that too nerdy?
Nope, that was the perfect amount of nerdy, Laura. I love the zombie flesh textures on this. Naturally, I'm missing out on a lot of the detail because my work monitor is going to hell, but what I can see looks fantastic.
Laura, please, consider who you are talking to. All of us are trying to get into the fantasy illustration business. Nerdyness is essential to one's success. :)
I dunno if you're going to look again at these comments, Kim, but I am still curious as to whether you pencil first or just freehand it on the computer? Anyway, you are a master of painting textures, and I bow down before you.
